AWS Summit 2022
We are AndesRobotTeam, a multidisciplinary team composed of students from Santo Tomas Universidad (Colombia) and Andres Bello University (Chile), with backgrounds in Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Automation and Robotics Engineering.
Our work focuses on the development of a domestic and service assistant robot capable of interacting with its environment through autonomous navigation, voice recognition, computer vision, object manipulation, and human interaction. Each team member contributes their expertise based on their academic discipline, allowing us to integrate solutions from different engineering perspectives while maintaining a collaborative approach.
We stand out for our teamwork, innovation, problem-solving, technical experience, and strong perseverance, which drives us to keep progressing on every project and face new challenges with creativity and commitment. We have previous experience in national and international competitions such as AWS Summit (2022), FLL (2019), IEEE LARC (2024), and RoboCup (2014), which has strengthened our technical and collaborative skills.
Our goal is to contribute real-world solutions through robotics, promote applied research, and proudly represent our universities in the international arena.
